Privacy Policy — Atlas
Effective April 30, 2026 · Developer: Gavin Sorvala · Contact: gsorvala@gmail.com
Summary
Atlas is a personal-OS dashboard. It reads health, calendar, and reminders data from your device with your explicit permission, and shows it back to you. All data stays on your device.
Data we collect
- HealthKit data (sleep, steps, heart rate, workouts) — only if you grant access. Read on-device. Never transmitted off-device.
- Calendar and reminders — only if you grant access. Read on-device. Never transmitted off-device.
- Notes you write inside Atlas — stored on-device only.
- Email address — only if you contact us for support.
How it is stored
All Atlas data is stored locally on your device. There is no Atlas-hosted backend. There is no account.
Third-party services we use
- Apple HealthKit, EventKit, Reminders — Apple frameworks, governed by Apple's privacy policy. Atlas only reads what you authorize.
- Apple TestFlight — for beta distribution. Crash logs are reported to Apple.
What we do NOT do
- We do not transmit your health, calendar, or notes data off your device.
- We do not sell or share your data.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
Your rights
You can revoke any data access permission at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy. Deleting the app removes all Atlas data from your device.
Children
Atlas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
This policy applies only to Atlas. Other apps by the same developer have their own policies. To request data deletion or ask questions, email gsorvala@gmail.com.
